Console Games

Back when the original Nintendo Entertainment System came out, I was convinced that it would be part of a short-lived fad. But no – people still love video game consoles and, for a lot of games, it’s the way to go versus playing on a computer.

I can’t say I’ve fully gotten into them, but last year I really got into – of all things – Tiger Woods PGA Golf on the PlayStation. It was a really engrossing game even though in real life, I couldn’t hit a golf ball a hundred yards. I still sometimes wax for the nostalgic, simple games like Kaboom! and Ms. Pac-Man, but there are some good titles out there nowadays. Has the current wave of consoles got you?
