A few night ago, I had an evening snack of cookies. I already had a glass of water so I opted not to go for milk. My wife, on the other hand, needed the milk to provide a good balance.
It got me to thinking about foods and the times when I really do need a balance (such as salty versus sweet), and I admit I’m having a hard time coming up with those instances. I can have a peanut butter sandwich without jelly; I can have cookies without milk; I can have pizza without salad.
Do you find that you need a balance when it comes to snacks and foods?
