Randompixel

In 1998, a guy sent six disposable cameras out into the world with instructions for the recipient to take one photo and then pass it onto someone else (a stranger or a friend). At the end of the roll, it was to be mailed back, postage paid. Over the next two years, two cameras were returned. A couple years later, he sent out ten more cameras.

The results of the experiment have finally launched at Randompixel, with new cameras being added each Tuesday. The first camera’s front-page shot features a woman with the world’s first sextuple chin. Amazing. (By the time you read this, the second camera will likely be online.)

This should prove to be an intriguing social experiment in the same vein as that one project that featured journals that were passed around (what was that project called?).

What is this then?

The Daily Ping is the web's finest compendium of toilet information and Oreo™® research. Too much? Okay, okay, it's a daily opinion column written by two friends. Did we mention we've been doing this for over ten years? Tell me more!
