Please, please tell me I’m not the only one in complete awe of the Mars rovers.
I know that they’re not as awe-inspiring as, say, the 1969 Moon landing to some, but I still think it’s pretty remarkable that tens of millions of miles away, we’ve got two working machines discovering new things. The idea that there might have been water on Mars, which may have supported life, is nothing short of amazing. That opens up tons of new questions.
I’m not so sure we need to start throwing money at NASA again, but this stuff is really fascinating to me.
