This past weekend was my company’s holiday party, a nice gathering where even the geekiest among us dressed up in suits and enjoyed good food and conversation. Since I’ve started my job, I’ve never missed a holiday party, even those years where I didn’t quite feel up to going. Almost every year, someone’s gotten silly drunk and last year we had someone who’s faculties weren’t quite about them try to come in off the street and join our party. There haven’t been absolutely scandalous events, though, as far as I know.
