With TV Turnoff Week almost on us again, thoughts for some may drift to how to spend that extra time away from the tube (not for me, of course, as my skull might melt if I don’t see 24 next week). In news that’s sure to please lovers of the pop-o-matic bubble and the creators of TV Turnoff Week alike, it’s being reported that board games are gaining ground on computer and video games.
I still like a good board game every so often. Pinger Matt is also a strong proponent of all things related to family gaming. There’s a human interaction you get with board games that you don’t get with video games (even two player ones). People actually talk. Weird, huh?
Anyone up for a game of Trouble or Balderdash?
