If you have glasses and visit water parks with any regularity, chances are you’ve made the mistake of wearing your glasses on the park’s largest slide, only to lose them upon hitting the water. I’m happy to say that I’ve come up with a simple, elegant solution: a separate water slide for the glasses.
Imagine at the top of the water slide, you hand your glasses to the employee before you climb in. He puts them in a hard shell case and slips them into a small tube that is connected directly to the large tube you’ll be travelling down. As you slide down, your glasses are right alongside you, sliding down their own tube. You fly out the bottom, splashing into the water below, comfortable knowing that your glasses are safe, waiting for you in a dispenser at the bottom of the small tube.
Water parks: feel free to integrate my brilliant idea into your next giant waterslide. All I ask is for one year’s pass. Thanks.
