It’s that time of year: the time to get a new dayplanner. As I’ve mentioned before, I’m not a PDA-type of guy, I prefer a small datebook to keep track of my oh-so-busy life.
Every year about this time I stand in front of the display of datebooks at Office Depot or Staples and ask myself, “Big or small? Daily, weekly, or monthly… or weekly/monthly? Professional or collegiate?” and “Why do they bother putting ‘tips for writing a better resum?’ inside planners?” It never fails, though, I go with my old standby, a small At-a-Glance weekly/monthly calendar. I go for collegiate instead of professional because it’s cheaper and is pretty much the same product.
