A number of years ago, I downloaded a slew of Simpsons sounds for my computer. I was a geek. Still am. Can’t help it. One of my favorites, though, was a clip of Homer asking, “Where’s my burrito?”, accompanied by the pounding of fists on a table. A fantastic and wacky sound, also found here, in wav format.
The thing is… I had no idea where it really came from (what episode? what circumstances? why a burrito?) The upshot is that other people have had the same question – and one even went so far as to create a burrito searching adventure!
It’s scary, but hey – college kids have loads of free time.
