I was trying to find the link for the kinda’-cool-if-pretty-geeky Alphabet Synthesis Machine, when I stumbled across a bunch of sites from a subculture I didn’t even know existed: language creators.
Apparently, creating a “model language” is like playing with a model train set. How, I’m not quite sure, but the general gist is that “model languages exist on paper or in computer files and may be shared only with a few close friends or may be used to give depth to imaginary worlds read or watched by millions.” There’s even a top 10 list and software to help you create a language. You can also start with the Language Construction Kit, a web guide to creating your own language from start to finish. It all seems kind of strange to me, but hey, who am I to judge?
… especially when I took the time to use the Alphabet Synthesis Machine to generate my own alphabet, download it, and install it as a font on my PC.

Nice 🙂 I’m currently in the process of making my own language for a fantasy novel as well… it’s a little confusing and I’m looking for some advice. Now, generalizing on the comments I’ve seen above from the last questions, I don’t think I’ll be getting an answer in any language that I’m going to understand. I mean, I got a couple of them, but most I didn’t understand at all. It gave me a good laugh and a smile knowing that some people out there share the same thought process as I do. Even if I don’t get any advice in English, thanks anyway to all you creatives out there!

I’m also creating my own language since few days. It seems easy for my lanquage because it’s very simple to understand the way it goes: No difficulty with little words : Ätäakssaa menziònekussuksiò. It means I’m a man who is not french. But it’s literally : I’m mannofrench. Also I created nations languages and Nationalities. Example : Spain : Country name : Späasak, Language : Späasaksii, Nationality: Späasaksiò/à 🙂
