It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that the two newest game shows, The Chamber and The Chair (with host John McEnroe!!) are going to have a short shelf life. Though I haven’t seen McEnroe’s show, I did see the first contestant on The Chamber and I can say that I never to see the show again. Seriously, the premise is that awful and absolutely no lasting interest. It is garbage worse than even Weakest Link. Strapping a person into a rotating chair and exposing him to excessive heat, wind, and motion may be difficult for the contestant but I have yet to see the TV where it’s compelling for the viewer.
Good God… how we need Jim Perry and Wink Martindale to make a comeback to save us from this mindless crap.
