Who was the best host of Family Feud?
The original: Richard Dawson, who kissed every woman that ever came on the show and offered up lollipops as a way to get extra money?
The tragic ending: Ray Combs, a stand-up comedian-turned host who killed himself backstage after a show? (turns out that last part isn’t true, see comments)
The new school: Louie Anderson, who went from stand-up comedian to cartoon character to game show host?
For me, it’s an easy choice: Richard Dawson. He defined Family Feud and set the standard. Combs did a good job as a follow-up host and Louie Anderson may be fine, but the whole game has been terribly bastardized with too much flash.
