Pop-Up Tape

I like tape. Tape is a very handy thing. It, you know, attaches things to each other. But taping things is a traditionally two-handed operation. As a bonus, it’s an office supply product – and I’m an office supply product geek.

Then I discovered Pop-Up Tape, and my life was forever changed. The Pop-Up Tape dispenser is small enough to go around your wrist – you wear it like a watch – and when you take one precut piece of tape out of the dispenser, another magically pops up in its place, at the ready. This means that tasks such as taping envelopes, packages, and signs has been made just that much easier.

The dispenser can also attach to a base in case you don’t feel like wearing a tape dispenser on your wrist. But I think it’s just a matter of time until this becomes as common as wearing a watch. Moreso, I wonder how far away we are from a Pop-Up Band-Aid Dispenser… that way, you get a cut, not only do you know what time it is but you can even bandage the wound! -pm
