It’s been a number of years since "Bohemian Rhapsody" made a comeback due in no small part to Wayne’s World. A song that hadn’t been popular for years came back full force because of a car sing-along – and even won an award.
I’m sure that Cameron Crowe had at least some similar hopes when he included a sing-along to Elton John’s "Tiny Dancer" in Almost Famous. The circumstances were quite a bit different than in Wayne’s World, but make no mistake: the sing-along in a movie is often an important scene.
Given that a majority of Pingers drive every day, I’m curious as to what your favorite sing-along songs are. -pm
