Sweet Simplicity

I used to be quite the infomercial junkie — so much so, that at one point I taped one infomerical that was just beyond outstanding: it was classic.

Before Nads and before Igia, there was Sweet Simplicity. This great hair removal product for women not only removed hair and reduced it over time, it was also edible!

During this half-hour infomerical, a group of women in their late 30s got together for a slumber-party type deal, but instead of a naked pillow fight, they all donned their silk robes and discussed their personal hair removal problem areas. And, of course, they all tried a taste of the “Bruleé” (presumably before anyone started to use it to remove their hair).

And even though Sweet Simplicity lost a head-to-head battle in the ever-important permanent-body-hair-removal.com comparison, I can betcha that Ultra Hair Away never had such a sweet, sweet infomercial. -ram

ooh i have to admit, this is a product i used for years and years – the absolutely best at-home hair removal system out there. so sad when i could no longer get it :~( . . . now I have to be tortured at the salon getting waxed. However, that being said, I NEVER tasted it!! couldn’t have been too bad, the ingredients were just sugar, water, citric acid, and some kind of gum.

I’ve been using Sweet Simplicity since the summer of 1996. I’ve been using my tub jar, believe it or not every 6-8 weeks on just my upper lip. I still have a tad left after ALL these years! Mind you, I only used a little at a time. That’s why it’s LASTED so long. Last year when the tub started to get about 1/16 down to almost the bottom of the tub, I decided looking for it and to my disappointment I can’t find ANYONE carrying it…. yet! Wondering if there is ANYTHING close to it out there in the WORLD….. SOMEWHERE! I particularly LOVED the fact that there were NO toxic chemicals- basically natural ingredients and gentle on the skin. It REALLY did do the job and left my skin smooth. It was one of the most wonderful products of hair removal EVER! Hoping, trusting SOMEONE invents something close to it or better!

What is this then?
