The other night I made a trip to the trendy-and-expensive-but-kinda-cool Xando with Pinger Dave, Ping Lurker Laura, and a few other (non-Pinger) friends for dessert after a nice Thai dinner in Alexandria. Dave had mentioned “Sm’oreos” and the very thought of such a beast got my mouth watering. For a serving fit for four people, you pay $11 and they bring you large Oreo tops, marshmallows, two Hershey’s chocolate bars, and your own personal flame to melt your marshmallows. While I think it would have been even better with spreadable Oreo creme, I was in heaven with the Oreo cookie tops and the squishy marshmallows. Quite the tasty treat, for sure. -ram
