For me, the jury is currently out on the whole phenomenon known as Ask Yahoo!. It’s kind of an Ask Jeeves, but with a real person, and the questions range from the strange to the normal. Here are my favorites thus far:
- How are underwater subways built?
- Why is the Pentagon shaped the way it is?
- Are there blue-tinted people living in Kentucky?
- How are flying buttresses constructed?
- How can I build a small functioning water mill?
- How do I get mustard out of a pair of Levi’s?
- What flavor is Dr Pepper?
- Where do birds go to die?
They have yet to answer the question asking how Yahoo! can make money, though. -pm
