Cinemaware is back!

Easily, one of my favorite games to play on my Commodore 64 was the game The Three Stooges, from Cinemaware. They also went ahead and created a great fastloader cartridge called Warp Speed! which helped the notoriously slow C64 disk drive, uhm, speed up.

Cinemaware’s games were standouts. Graphics and gameplay were top-notch for the era. One of my early favorites was TV Sports Football, which even included phony commercials in some versions to enhance the realism.

At any rate, I’m all bubbly because you can now play some of those great Cinemaware games in your browser and download others – for nothin’! Just check out their rather nice site, and off you go. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got some gaming to do…. -pm

What is this then?

The Daily Ping is the web's finest compendium of toilet information and Oreo™® research. Too much? Okay, okay, it's a daily opinion column written by two friends. Did we mention we've been doing this for over ten years? Tell me more!
