The Sedlec Ossuary

The SedlecOssuary is a chapel decorated inside with scuptures made from human skulls and bones. Apparently, there is a high demand to be buried on this holy ground, so to make room for new residents, they dig up previous residents and use their bones in the inside of the church (so that they remain on holy ground as well).

It’s absolutely amazing — the chandelieris especially impressive. -ram

no one has talked on this for 2!!! years!!! wow…. anyways i think i would straight up fall on the ground having a heart attack knowing that those “scultures” are made from somebodys bones…eww!!!.. and im sure that the dude that those bones are from isnt appreciateing that ya’ll are useing it in wat ys’ll are calling “art”
