Great story here from the Bay Area…
A number of kids got Fun Size Snickers bars that were packed with marijuana. In under two days, authorities figured out what happened:
A package arrived at a post office and was undeliverable and had no return address. Upon opening the package, they found candy. Seemed innocent enough, so the USPS donated the candy to a charity to distribute on Halloween. The charity gave the Snickers to a woman who in turn passed them out to kids.
Perhaps the oddest part of this story is that it took place in a town called “Hercules.” (They had no problems over in Xena.) -ram
