Cheer up! Yahoo! Mobile offers a nice alternative if your cell phone has text messaging (and can receive email messages.) Once you have a Yahoo! account, you can receive all sorts of notifications. I get my horoscope sent to me every weekday at 9am, and when the Sox and Cubs are playing, I get the score every three innings. And yes, you can monitor auctions… at Yahoo! Auctions, of course.
