Elastic

Elastic is a pretty amazing product. It holds up our undies, our socks, and makes a fun little snapping noise. But elastic stops becoming our best friend when it starts to be, well, not so elastic. Have you ever had a pair of socks that have just started to sag after a while?

In order to save Americans the extra money that we spend replacing products with worn-out elastic, I declare a “sock tax” that would take money spent on every pair of socks purchased and put it towards research of ways to make a longer-lasting elastic. Who’s with me?
