The above envelope looks like a normal tax return document, right? With those annoying “tear off the sides first” instructions. But, what you may not be able to see at this resolution is the way the numbers are placed on the envelope. The instructions read like this:
(along the top)
1. Remove side stubs first, then fold, crease and tear off this stub at this perf.
(along the sides)
2. Fold, crease and tear off stub at perfs.
So, let me get this straight… instruction #1 is: “go to instruction #2, and then come back to this instruction.”
And they wonder why I’m looney.
