How have they been in your neck of the woods?
Illinois is, thankfully, not a battleground state nor is it a Republican one (for the most part). But we’ve had a shitload of political ads in the past couple of weeks as questionable SuperPACs have tried to, say, take down a decorated war veteran running against a deadbeat dad.
Then there are all of the general, non-specific crappy ads with lots of stock video of CONCERNED PARENTS about THE GIANT NATIONAL DEBT and HOW WE CAN’T TAKE MUCH MORE OF THIS (sponsored by FreedomWorks! and Now or Never PAC! and Stupid Idiot Braindead PAC!) that are even more bothersome. But really, on late night shows here the only ads are these political ones and drug ones. That’s about it. Pretty great!
As Letterman said the other night, we can be sure of one thing: in a couple of days, there’ll be one less Presidential candidate.

In Virginia, we’re definitely deluges by political ads. They make me pretty ill, so I take full advantage of commercial skip.
