If you know me, then you know that email remains my preferred form of electronic communication. (E-communication! Also, ill communication!)
Something I found very powerful recently, though, is being succinct in email. So succinct, in fact, that the reply is just one word.
For example there was someone who emailed me, asking about a meeting. My reply? “Yes.”
Another person asked me if I could do something that I could not do. My reply? “No.”
It may come across as brash or bold, but that’s not my concern. I’d rather get to the point than just belabor it.
So, that’s it.
