I noticed the other day that if a handrail is available when I’m walking down a flight of stairs, I’ll use it. Even if I have nothing in my hands and I’m walking slowly, I still use the handrail by default. And that’s kind of gross because I see how often people don’t wash their hands in public bathrooms.
So, I think I may start living life on the edge: I’m not going to use the handrail unless I absolutely have to. It’s worth the risk of falling.
