I was saddened to hear that we’ve lost Richard Dawson. He was a TV staple in the 70s and 80s, one of the greatest game show hosts to ever do the job. He was so good, that in subsequent versions of the show, they didn’t even make attempt to find anybody worthy of hosting (hence we wound up with folks like Richard Karn and John O’Hurley). Well, with one exception.
In Richard Dawson’s memory, how about the intro from the episode of Family Feud that makes my head explode with its amazingness:
