It’s been 6 1/2 years since I asked, so it’s worth asking again: is anyone out there still using dialup? And if so, what provider do you use?
AOL still (!) offers dialup access for 10 bucks a month. And as of late last year, with 3.5 million users, it was still where AOL got most of its profits. Ouch.

I was recently in conversation with another major national ISP. They still have about 1 million dial up users.
