Ever since South Park said the word “shit” 162 times in one episode, it seems that the curse one level down from the F-bomb has become pretty ubiquitous and accepted by society. My 13-year-old niece used the word on Facebook. It usually squeaks by the censors on basic cable now. And it shows up often in memes.
It’s just word, so I don’t view this as the downfall of Western civilization or anything… just something I find interestful.
