While I don’t see them all that often anymore, there are still a number of backpacks out there with little ports to allow headphone cables to pass through. Thus, you stuff your music device in your backpack – making it inaccessible – and just feel groovy, man.
Do people use these? Do you? Within the context of MP3 players, it seems like one would want to have a display and/or controls easily available. I mostly think that if one is still using a Discman, where music is a solid stream and won’t be changed, then it makes a little more sense.
