I have pretty lousy posture.
At this point in my life, I feel I can blame it on using a computer since the age of 5. Back in the olden days, my first monitor was a 13″ black and white TV. I almost always leaned in to get a good look at what was going on. I became nearsighted, too.
But now I mostly notice it when I’m in meetings. The back of the chair might as well not be there; I lean in for no good reason, resting my elbows on conference tables. I still lean while computering and internetting but it seems silly.
Admittance is the first step. But I can’t be alone in this. Is this something which plaques other youngish folks? And how do I start reversing the trend while I still can?
