I did not watch a second of the Oscars this year. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever watched it. But, apparently, people do.
Did you? What did you think? Robert Ebert called it “The worst Oscar show I’ve seen, and I go back a way,” so I’m not terribly sorry I missed it.

I watched a documentary of Robert McNamara last night, then CSI Miami. And I skipped everything in Google Reader related to the Oscars. I did catch that Trent Reznor from 9 Inch Nails won one, other than that, I have no idea who won last night.

We had it on in the background while doing other stuff; watched just a little of it directly, particularly the big awards at the end of the night.
But, you know, it was an awards show: too long.
