You know — the Progressive Woman (does she have a proper character name?) was kind of interesting the first time around. The concept was neat and well executed and she was funny and charming. But as soon as she became a recurring character (in other words, the second time she was used in a commercial), she got awfully annoying. And I think her lipstick got brighter.
Now, she’s as annoying as the Geico gecko, ensuring I’ll never use Progressive for auto insurance. (Eh, who am I kidding. I’d be too lazy to change even if I liked the Progressive Woman.)

Flo! I think she is a distant cousin of Lorelai Gilmore.
