Does anyone else recall Funcoland?
Wikipedia and the rest of the interwebs note that Funcoland was acquired by GameStop at some point in the past, but the thing I remember most was… their commercials, of course. Particularly this one:
I remember their ads running back-to-back, so I’d get to hear that delightful closing blip-blip-blip-blip tune twice in a standard commercial break. Annoying but effective.
