A thought I had: people from 200 years ago would be more amazed by the fact you could flip a light switch and light up a room instantly than they would by the concept of an iPod and holding thousands of songs in your hand. I can imagine them saying, “Music? Why would I want to listen to music without people playing it? That is absurd, sir!” but totally being into the idea of household electricity.
