I stopped at Dunkin’ Donuts last week to pick up a few things. Mostly donuts. But coffee as well.
I figured I’d get a small coffee as I usually do at other coffee shops when I realized that a small at DD was 10 ounces. Huh? And then more weirdness: a medium is 14 ounces (!), a large is 20, and an extra large is 24. I don’t really have a problem with the large and extra large but 10 and 14 ounces? What is that about?
For comparison’s sake, Starbucks does it right: a small (short) is 8 ounces. A medium (tall) is 12. A large (venti?) is 16, and an extra large (grande) is 20.
As Ryan pointed out, it’s not technically possible to get a cup (8 ounces) of coffee at Dunkin’ Donuts. That’s thinking outside of the box!
