Being one that is entertained by shows like Freaks and Geeks which highlight all the embarassing moments growing up, I’m also fond of books like Paul Feig’s Kick Me and Superstud: Or How I Became a 24-Year-Old Virgin. I just finished up yet another wonderful book full of embarassing stories titled Mortified: Real Words. Real People. Real Pathetic. In this book is collected almost 400 pages of childhood journal entries that offer everything from pathetic displays of love for members of Duran Duran to recollections of being picked on while being friends with Liza Minelli to plain old embarassing love notes that were (thankfully) never delivered to their intended recipients.
Next up is the sequel, Mortified: Love Is a Battlefield.
