The Daily Ping

We've only had four major designs over our 11 year history.

No log on

Something that annoys me:

When news broadcasts tell you to “log on to [their] web site for more information.” Not just because they never give specific URLs or the oh-so-important information could be found more easily with a simple Google search, but because you never have to actually “log on” to anything. Visiting a web site != “logging on,” people.

I always get a kick when newscasters are forced to give a longer address to something, say, for a contest. It always sounds like they are reading an eye chart that will never end.

It’s like some of these people still use typewriters, and can’t figure out these darn fangled com-pooter thangs!

What is this then?

The Daily Ping is the web's finest compendium of toilet information and Oreo™® research. Too much? Okay, okay, it's a daily opinion column written by two friends. Did we mention we've been doing this for over ten years? Tell me more!
