Back in the first grade, we decorated our classroom with gravestones. Paper ones, of course. These gravestones also had inscriptions which we had to write – and they had to rhyme, as any good gravestone inscription does. Oddly, I can remember mine to this very day:
Here lies Paul
He was standing in the hall
when a tall man with a shawl
shot him to the wall.
Thankfully I don’t know any tall men who wear shawls.
