I have to admit that for a long time, I had two keys on my keychain whose purpose eluded me. Were they for doors? Filing cabinets? Trunks? No idea. I ended up getting rid of those keys and started my campaign against excessive and overloaded keychains.
Today I’m proud to say I have just four keys on my keychain, plus a car key fob.
I worry about people who have 20 or 30 keys on their keychains… not because of emotions or the like but because, well, where do you put that thing? I like to keep my keys in my pocket, but at some point it’s going to look like a keychain-shaped growth.

I, too, have been trying to cut back on the amount of keys I carry. I realized that I didn’t need to carry around the key and fob for our second car with me, so I created a second keychain with those and a duplicate of our housekey. Next up: making use of justoneclubcard.com.
