Here’s something strange: our neighbors next door were apparently having a Super Tuesday Party last night. I know! Election results certainly go well with spinach dip.
I never considered having a party for Super Tuesday before but now I’m seriously considering it for 2012. Think about it: how many parties are there on Tuesdays? 3, maybe 4. Who wants spinach dip? Millions. Thus, the market is ready for Super Tuesday Parties – with a capital “P” and everything.
I suspect it’s only a matter of time before we see Super Tuesday Party goods at party stores. Election hats, plates, and napkins would be swell! And who wouldn’t want candidate-specific recipes?
In the meantime I think I’m going to try to set one up for Election Day. It’s going to be a blast!

I’ve been to an Election Day party. Trust me, no matter how well you plan it, someone will get in a screaming match with someone else about their candidates. Even if you invite all people from one political party…it doesn’t matter.
Just trying to save you the insurance call afterwards..
