Aside from obvious necessary applications like browsers, e-mail clients, and full-blown word processors, what “little application” do you use on a daily basis that you just couldn’t live without?
I’d have to give the nod to EditPad Lite (although this tends to change from time to time). This beefed-up Notepad sits in my system tray all day, often with six to seven random files open or unsaved, untitled notes that I want to remember throughout the day. It serves its purpose as a freeware application that is small, unobtrusive, and something I couldn’t be as productive without. -ram
