If you ever find yourself in a situation involving torturing me, might I suggest serving me creamed corn? I know that’s a bold statement to make. But I think it would be just as effective as Chinese water torture – and I’m willing to let the MythBusters test it out on me.
Thing is, I like regular corn. I like it on the cob, and I like it with Bob. But when you soak it in a bath… woof. No way. The mishmash of textures just hasn’t sat right with me, ever. In fact, between brussels sprouts and creamed corn I would definitely choose brussels sprouts… and that’s saying something.

Creamed corn is kinda gross, but brussels sprouts get a bad rap. Lightly fried with a little olive oil drizzled on top and a little chopped garlic… they’re actually really good.

I just grossed myself out.
