I can not eat pineapple.
It’s not that I don’t like pineapple. I actually like the stuff: I enjoy its sweet flavor and slightly-chewy texture. I even like the fakey fake pineapple “flavor” that non-pineapple foods such as candy use. It’s good.
But the reason I can’t eat pineapple is because once when I was a kid, I got sick after eating some pineapple. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t the pineapple’s fault (what would it ever do to me?) But, I can never eat the stuff again for fear that I’ll get sick again.
Are there any foods which are ruined in this way for you?

Sausage and hot roast beef (fast food) sandwiches.
I know, I am better off avoiding both of these forever!!

once a bee came out of the orange juice carton along with the juice. I haven’t really wanted orange juice since. Gaah! what if I’d swallowed the bee?

Malted Milk Balls (aka Whoppers) Ate so many, in one sitting, as a young child, made myself sick. I shudder at the thought of those these days.

Butterscotch. OD’d on it on an ice cream sundae once. I still can’t handle the stuff.

Peanut butter.
In my teens, out on my own, I asked for assistance from the Salvation Amry. had a job, but literally nothing to live on for 2 weeks while I was waiting for my first paycheck.
I received a jar of cheap peanut butter, a loaf of bread, and a jar of instant coffee from the Salvation Army.
After 30 years, I can eat peanut butter cookies, but plain peanut butter is simply beyond me.
