Tickwhatsnow?

I’ve gotta tell you, I really hate it when I read a newspaper article about an event I’d like to attend, only to find that the article also helpfully tells me it sold out.

It started simply enough: I read an article in the Chicago Tribune saying the Dalai Lama was coming to town. “Great!” I thought, “I’d like to go!” Then in paragraph five: “Tickets quickly sold out…”

Thing is, I’m not sure how I could have found out about this sooner. I’d have to scour the Millennium Park site, or a Buddhist site, after having the idea of seeing the Dalai Lama speak just pop into my head. Which could happen. But finding out about it after the fact? That doesn’t leave me with a peaceful feeling.
