Milk: It Does a Body Good

Thanks to my friend Jonathan, I was reminded of the terribly lame “Milk: It Does a Body Good” ads from the 80s and 90s. And whaddaya know, they’re on the internets!

For those of you who think the Ping is above embedding YouTube videos: you’re wrong.

With the second: who was filming him? And, was it the milk that helped him or the hormones in the milk?

Yes, who was filming that guy in the second ad? I mean really, does he have his own theme music too? “‘Pardon me, guys.’ Let’s see that again… ‘Pardon me, guys.'” Lame indeed!

I remember that first one. I’m thinking the second may have been in heavy rotation when I was overseas as I had never seen it before.

I kind of wish I still had never seen it. Thanks Paul.

I know there is a website out there that has a bunch of old commercials from the 80s for stuff like G.I Joe action figures, Heman and Shera figures, speak and spell and a few others. I think there are even some candy bar commercials and public service announcements as well. If only I could remember the name of the site…

Gotta be the hormones.

I too remember the first ad. The second was probably playing during my European/Mediterranean/Indian Ocean excursions of the 80s and 90s.

You’ve got to admit, some of those videos on YouTube are outrageous.

Ciao,

Thanks Paul
I love these adds! I took them to heart in the late 80’s and 18 or so years later I’m 6’3″ with excelent bone structure and the love of a beautiful woaman.
“It does a body good baby”!

In the first video, I’d like to see if the little girl turned out to look anything like her future self.

In the second video, it wasn’t the milk. It was the steroids.

What is this then?
