The Weather Channel has become largely irrelevant. The only time the Weather Channel ever gets turned on in our house is when my dad comes to visit. The forecasts are too boring and if you have DISH, you never actually get a “local” forecast (the local forecast on the 8s is actually a national forecast). The music is the same snooze music they used a decade ago and there’s not enough interesting non-forecast programming.
I’m not looking for EXTREME WEATHER TO THE MAXX! (which they’ve done, I’m sure), but some good content like the amazing Weather documentary would be cool.
When was the last time you watched The Weather Channel rather than jumping online to check the forecast?
