There are few things nicer on a Sunday morning than a nice stack of waffles (or pancakes, but I’m currently on a waffle kick) and some really good maple syrup. I’ve been experimenting and trying a lot of different types of waffles, and all of them thusfar have been really good. For the sweet tooth, chocolate chocolate chip waffles hit the spot (using cocoa powder in addition to chocolate chips). Also very good are pumpkin waffles, which use canned pumpkin and all the great spices that go with it to make something like pumpkin pie in waffle form. I’m also excited to try lemon corn waffles with a blueberry sauce, a recipe that has me drooling just thinking about it.
Waffles are tasty… that’s what there are entire houses named after them.

You’ve intrigued me with your comment about pumpkin waffles. I did a Google search and came up with a few recipes that sound very similar to a pumpkin cookie recipe that I use all the time. I must give these a try.
And to think I’d never have found this if I hadn’t searched the Daily Ping for “Waffle House” (where I’ve never had an AWFUL experience, but many have been better than others!)
