In honor of my two favorite things, Oreos and science, I present to you the Oreo Moon Phases, part of the “Paper Plate Education” series. In this wonderful classroom activity, the phases of the moon are shown using partially eaten Oreos for illustration. Delicious and educational!
Disappointingly, the activity encourages teachers to use bite-size Oreos. Personally, I would go with Double Stufs.
