The Fremont Troll

One of the stranger things you’ll come across if you drive around Seattle is the Fremont Troll, a large stone sculpture underneath a bridge. It was designed during a time when there was a lot of drug activity underneath the bridge. I was told the sculpture was supposed to act as a deterrent and has apparently worked because when I was there last night, there were a few kids playing on the troll as their parents looked on.
